Employability Day 2026

WorkWell West would like to share an important day for the employment support sector. ERSA describes today:

“Employability Day is a national celebration of the impact of employment support and skills provision across the UK, shining a spotlight on the work of providers, local authorities, employers and colleges in helping people move into good work.”

Our sector aims to bring the Government’s Get Working White Paper into reality, and achieve a higher national employment rate.

WorkWell is just one piece of a wider employment support network aimed at getting Britain working. We support those with health-related barriers to work, as many in the UK are at risk of falling out of work due to ill-health.

There are other local employment services and programmes with their own focus. These include support for young people (18-25), people with disabilities, providing apprenticeships, courses and adult education.
